The Tri, as opposed to the Pro, supports offline daily activity tracking, whereas the Pro does not. The Tri and Hrm Pro also have more advanced running metrics such as VO2Max, whereas the Hrm Pro only has basic running metrics. Garmin Hrm-pro. The Garmin HRM-Pro is a heart rate monitor that is designed for athletes.
Since around 4-5 months Garmin Swim 2, when used together with HRM Pro, for open water or pool swimming, would not upload finished activities to Connect (via BT). Actiity history on the phone shows the swim and swimming total for the week includes the activity. However it does not appear in Connect when synchronised.
If you have an activity started on the watch you do not need to be close to the watch. After you finish the activity you should get an option to download…. Ensure your 745 is paired to your HRM-Pro in Sensors and Activities. Once paired, your 745 will automatically find your HRM-Pro when you select an activity, provided you are wearing it
No clue why you are connecting it to the app instead of the watch. This may be why you're having problems? Disconnect it from the app and then try to connect to the watch. I'm pretty sure you're unable to connect both in tandem. ( At least it shouldn't be possible ) You can have the HRM Pro paired with both the app and the watch.
