To change servers in Guild Wars 2, start from the Character Select screen. There will be an option in the bottom-left of the UI to open the server browser, marked as World Selection . There are two options here when selecting a server: Guest or Transfer. Guest means you would visit the server, but your account would still be linked to yourBank and gold will be there, but you lose: crafting levels. unlocked pets (I think) skill points. unlocked traits. map completion. order memberships. character /age , which is important for bigger, better birthday presents :) Before you delete everything, consider this - it may be worth spending the money to transfer with your characters intact.
As far as I understand it, no, you still won't be able to use your Steam account to log into the non-Steam version of the game or vice versa. But generally you shouldn't need it: Steam players will still play on the same servers as non-Steam players, only difference is how you log into the game. Nebushard.
Horrible Server lag. Howdy, I'm an old Veteran player from way back in 2012 that has recently come back after a 4 year hiatus.
